They rang just after 9 in the morning. Said they were from Adjostomatic beds and were giving out high street vouchers if you completed a quick survey, which I never bother with. The caller kept pushing, so I ended the call and blocked the number. Our number should already be registered with the TPS!!

Report these muppets to the ICO for pestering with calls. But before that, give them a made-up name and address for their cheeky bed pitches - they'll drive miles and miles hoping to make a sale, then just block you. It's brilliant - they ring me (I'm on the TPS) without asking, so I get my own back. Serves them right and wastes their time hunting for a place that’s not real. x

Got a random call from some place called 'Comformatic' who sell adjustable beds. A lady with a British accent was on the phone. She was going on about £15 in 'Love to Shop' vouchers if you let one of their sales reps visit and try to push their products for ages. Honestly, just add them to your blocked numbers.

Got a call from Comformatic around 7.15pm today, trying to set up an appointment for a bed demonstration. She asked if I had any health issues, told her I suffer from PLUMBUS PENDULARIS. When she asked how it impacted me, I said I sleep like 18 hours daily. Then she asked if I’m retired, I told her I stopped working at 26. She wanted to know my age, so I said I’m 80. Ended up agreeing to an appointment and gave a made-up address - definitely a SCAM.

I picked up the phone and all I got was a robot saying "goodbye." Decided to check the number with 1471 and ended up on this site. Honestly, happy I didn't actually talk to whoever it was.

On 15th August 2017 at about 6.30pm, I got a call on my 01273... landline from a lady speaking with a Northern English accent. She claimed to be calling from ‘Comfomatic’ and was trying to convince me to buy some kind of special bed or chair. She also tempted me by saying I could win a Marks and Spencer voucher if I took part. I told her my number’s on the Telephone Preference Service list, but she carried on anyway. When I warned her about the possible fines for companies ignoring the TPS, she still didn’t back down. Eventually, I had to nicely end the call. Before hanging up, she mentioned someone would come to ‘my area’ the next day, but when I asked which area exactly, she just dodged the question and gave no reply.

Received a ring from this number trying to peddle an adjustable bed out of the blue. When I asked which company they were with, they said something like Comsomatick from Cheshire. I just let them know they could be in big trouble, like a £75,000 penalty, because I’m on the TPS list. Honestly, signing up to TPS is pretty straightforward - just do it and report these calls, and they’ll be made to stop.
