This raised my suspicions, so I decided to do a little digging online, only to discover that the number isn't listed under any business or company at all. Quite odd, don’t you think?

This chap asserts that I submitted a marriage tax back form, and he’s gone and verified my name, where I live, the date of my wedding, and even my NI number! To top it off, he shot me a text, urging me to click on a link.

I received a call purporting to be about some loft insulation that I supposedly had fitted through a government programme. The thing is, I’ve never had any prior communication from them, nor have I participated in any such scheme. It seems to smell a bit fishy, so I’m inclined to think it’s just a scam.
