The phone rang, so I picked it up. There was silence on the other end, so I just ended the call straight away.

If the message does kick in, I listen to check if it's someone I actually need to speak with, and if it isn’t, I just end the call right away. Since I started doing this, it feels like no more cold calls or scams have made it through to me at all.
