I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying I’d been in a car crash. I told her I’ve never had an accident before, but she kept on insisting that I must have, since she supposedly got my info from the accident department or something. It was really pushy!

Just got a call a little while back from a woman with a strong eastern accent, claiming she was conducting a survey. I told her I’d looked up her number online and loads of folks had flagged it as a scam. I asked her to clarify what was going on. Instead of answering, she just kept repeating her usual lines. I interrupted again and pressed her about why so many had marked her number as suspicious. She kinda paused but then went right back to her usual pitch. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.
