Got a recorded call saying it was from Worldpay - the number is real even if you never dialled it yourself. I phoned them and they quickly stopped all outgoing calls from my end. It's just part of some auto marketing thing. Proper irritating, especially since there’s no straightforward way to locate their complaints process.

Less than five minutes after i told them not to call again, this telemarketer rang our TPS-listed number yet again, repeating the same script. They’ve bombarded us with unsolicited calls before, and just won’t accept a refusal. Seems like they’re pushing credit card payment processing deals; we a) don’t want to switch providers right now, and b) would never consider trusting our customers’ card info with some pushy, invasive cold-calling outfit like this lot.

Got a call on our TPS-blocked number, someone looking for a particular staff member. We made it clear we dont want to be contacted by WorldPay and to stop their calls. The person on the phone said WorldPay hadnt reached out before, but we’ve had several calls from them in the past, saying they were from that company.

Got a call today from someone claiming they could help me save on my electric bill. I let her carry on, and she said she needed to check my meter, then put me on hold. When she came back, she asked if I could read out the serial numbers from my meter. My gut feeling was screaming red flags ????. I just hung up on her. No way am I getting caught out like that. This number has rang me a couple of times, but whenever i answered, the call just dropped. So today i decided to call back and got connected to a lovely woman named Sharon. I explained what was going on and mentioned that we don't accept card payments. She apologised for the calls and promised to remove our number from their list right away.

I’m so fed up with these calls! My phone just goes straight to voicemail without ringing, so I can’t even block the numbers. It’s happening almost every day now and it’s making me lose it! Most of the time it’s some recorded message or just heavy breathing on the voicemail, which is super creepy. yeah it does say worldpay when they call. someone rang me from this number and on my phone it showed spilsby, which is a small place near where I grew up. the bloke was actually calling from nottingham and didn’t even know where spilsby was. i'd say it's best to block this number.
