The bloke with an Indian accent said he’s from the promo team and that he wouldn’t be aware of that. I said, if they’re Vodafone, surely they’d have my info, right? That was the end of it.

Sounds like some sort of auto dialer to me coz when I picked up it took ages for anyone to respond. No proper intro just a Peter saying his name - could be, but their accent didn’t really match. He asked to talk to the business owner, and when I said they weren’t there, he wanted the manager. I told him the same and then they just went silent and ended the call. Proper rude if you ask me.

First, they tried the old line about my computer causing trouble online and needing their help to fix it. When I didn't fall for that, they put me through to some “supervisor” named Austin Edwards who claimed he worked for BT. When I questioned him, he started calling me a beggar and then bizarrely tried to teach me guitar. What a load of rubbish!

Got loads of calls from someone saying they're from the Microsoft Service Centre about my PC or laptop. They just won't accept that I use a MAC and keep pushing their story. Told them my number's on the TPS list, but they just ignore it and go on about some issue that'll ruin my computer. When I asked to speak to a manager and told them to remove my number, they started shouting and swearing at me. It's been pretty awful.

They just won’t stop ringing me, even though I say no each time. They’re really pushy and it’s not right that they’re allowed to keep bothering folks like this.

This number has been ringing me a lot over the last few days. Each time, it's a bloke with an Asian accent asking for the business owner but then starts going on about stuff that makes no sense. Since the caller ID was private, I just told them there’s no one like that here. That didn’t stop the calls though - not sure if it’s the same guy. Honestly, it’s driving me nuts! Feels like we need some sort of genius hacker, like from a cyber crime drama, to break into their 'talktalk' system and put an end to this mess, because no one else seems to be sorting it out.
