The bloke with an Indian accent said he’s from the promo team and that he wouldn’t be aware of that. I said, if they’re Vodafone, surely they’d have my info, right? That was the end of it.

Sounds like some sort of auto dialer to me coz when I picked up it took ages for anyone to respond. No proper intro just a Peter saying his name - could be, but their accent didn’t really match. He asked to talk to the business owner, and when I said they weren’t there, he wanted the manager. I told him the same and then they just went silent and ended the call. Proper rude if you ask me.

It seems they've shifted tactics to the classic 'your computer is experiencing issues and we need to intervene' spiel. When I pushed back, I ended up speaking to some so-called 'supervisor' named Austin Edwards, who had the audacity to claim he was from BT. When I questioned him, he resorted to calling me a beggar and cheekily offered to teach me guitar instead. What an absolute numpty!

Got loads of calls from someone saying they're from the Microsoft Service Centre about my PC or laptop. They just won't accept that I use a MAC and keep pushing their story. Told them my number's on the TPS list, but they just ignore it and go on about some issue that'll ruin my computer. Received a bothersome call from someone claiming to discuss lowering phone bills, addressing it directly to the business owner. I explained that we use a preferential number, which seemed to catch him off guard, and he quickly said sorry before hanging up. In the last week or so, I've had multiple phone calls from this number. An individual with an Asian accent keeps inquiring about the business owner and rambles on about unrelated topics. As it’s a private number, I informed him that there's no such person here. However, that hasn’t deterred him from calling back (not certain if it’s the same gentleman each time). At this rate, I'm beginning to think we might require the expertise of a highly skilled 15-year-old whizz to infiltrate their 'talktalk' network and put an end to this nonsense, as it appears no one else is prepared to step up and sort it out!
