I picked up this call and heard an automated voice claiming to be from my bank’s security team, but they never actually mentioned which bank it was. They warned me about a £700 transaction supposedly charged to Amazon, then started to talk about another payment, but I didn’t bother listening any further and just ended the call. The number that appeared on my caller ID definitely isn’t the official number of my bank. If you get a call like this, don’t do anything and just ignore it!
