Lately, I keep getting calls from some scam pretending to be Amazon. They use this automated message with an American accent saying my Amazon Prime subscription was renewed for £39.99 and I need to press 1 to stop it. Now, whenever I hear these recorded messages, I just hang up straight away. It’s good to know this is a common scam and not something I should worry about.

Got a bunch of calls from various numbers recently, all about some £600 supposedly taken off my Mastercard and Visa from overseas. They never give a name or any real details. This has happened maybe 6 or 7 times in the past few weeks. It’s really frustrating and could be quite worrying for older or more vulnerable folks. Just blocked them again on 1572.
