I saw a missed call from this number around 10.30 in the morning but didn’t pick up as it looked unfamiliar. When I checked online, loads of others said they got calls from the same number. Some of them did answer and said it was suspicious, so I ended up reporting it too.

I work as a carer for an elderly man who's quite vulnerable. When I got to his place, he was really unsettled, saying someone on the phone was asking for his bank info. They already had his name and address down, which was creepy enough. The person on the line knew I was his carer and was quite rude, demanding the bank details straight away. I shudder to think what could've happened if I hadn't showed up when I did. Such awful people out there.

Loads of calls about TV, and my daughter answered one of them. When I tried calling the number back, it just didn’t exist.

If you receive a call that ends immediately after answering, don’t ring them back! Chances are you’ll end up with an outrageous bill, which they’re just after to make money from. Total scam!

Somebody rang me out of the blue but ended the call right after I picked up, no clue what they wanted. I’ve gone ahead and blocked that number using my phone company, Plusnet.
