So this person claimed to be from Dt and told me to sit in front of my computer so she could fix my slow internet problems. I wasn't falling for that, just ended the call straight away.

On the first day, I ended the call promptly as there was an uncomfortable silence; a classic sign of a dodgy call, if you ask me. Then, on the second attempt, the person on the line, who spoke with an accent not native to these parts, alleged to be representing the technical department of some company-though I didn't quite catch which one. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

This bloke with a foreign accent has been constantly calling me, claiming there’s an issue with my BT router. He was really rude and sounded like he was just reading from a script. When I asked for his phone number so my husband could get in touch, he completely refused. After a bit of digging, I discovered the number was linked to a place in Hay-on-Wye, but it all feels pretty dodgy to me.

the caller said they were from 'the technical team at british telecom openreach', but the area code was from hay-on-wye which seemed odd to me. i reckon they might be calling from somewhere like indonesia or another place in the far east. i explained to them that i’m with virgin media, so i don’t have bt service, but they wouldn’t take it. when i told the guy to be quiet and pay attention, he got really rude and shouted at me. clearly one of those scams.
