I received a rather dodgy call the other day - it was a pre-recorded message claiming to be from BT. They were saying something along the lines of attempting to reach me for ages, warning that there had been some suspicious goings-on linked to my internet account. They insisted I get in touch with them pronto, or they’d cut my line. The thing is, I don’t even use BT, which instantly set alarm bells ringing. Clearly, this was a scam, so I've now taken the liberty of blocking any future calls from that number.
