Got a call from some Indian bloke saying my computer had problems and they wanted me to log in and sort it out. Total scam, don't fall for it!

some bloke with an asian accent called me ‘ben’ which i’m pretty sure wasnt his real name. he claimed he was from bt and said i should sign up to stop nuisance calls. ive had calls like this before, they’re just after your personal info. when i said no, he started threatening to disconnect me, but they have no right to do that. definitely dont call back these numbers unless you want to get scammed.

This happened to me too. I asked him some questions and he suddenly got really rude. After I ended the call, he rang me right back and started shouting! Proper angry and annoying. What a knob!

Got a call from a woman called Nicole with an Indian accent, claiming to be from BT tech support and offering to fix issues on my computer.

Loads of calls from some Indian guys saying there's something wrong with my computer and they can sort it out. I ended the call right away 'cause it felt dodgy. They keep ringing me back and are really pushy about it.

I encountered a right numpty on the phone earlier. He insisted he was representing some official BT Internet service, but as soon as I questioned him, he turned quite hostile. Strangely enough, he mentioned he had the details of my address. Once I highlighted that his spiel reeked of a scam, the call suddenly cut out as if he’d been zapped!

Got a missed call so I tried ringing back but no one picked up.

I got a call from someone who said they were with BT Internet, but they sounded like a right numpty. When I asked some proper questions he just got all hostile. He did mention he had the house address, but then when I told him I knew it was dodgy, he suddenly cut the call and disappeared. Proper scammer.
