Got a call from some Indian bloke saying my computer had problems and they wanted me to log in and sort it out. Total scam, don't fall for it!

some bloke with an asian accent called me ‘ben’ which i’m pretty sure wasnt his real name. he claimed he was from bt and said i should sign up to stop nuisance calls. ive had calls like this before, they’re just after your personal info. when i said no, he started threatening to disconnect me, but they have no right to do that. definitely dont call back these numbers unless you want to get scammed.

I experienced something similar. When I confronted him, he became quite hostile. After I ended the call, he rang back and started yelling at me! Absolutely fuming! What an absolute fool!

I ended the conversation abruptly, as it struck me as a potential scam. They’re relentless, though, and their persistence is rather off-putting.

I encountered a right numpty on the phone earlier. He insisted he was representing some official BT Internet service, but as soon as I questioned him, he turned quite hostile. Strangely enough, he mentioned he had the details of my address. Once I highlighted that his spiel reeked of a scam, the call suddenly cut out as if he’d been zapped!

I had a rather unpleasant encounter with someone on the phone who purported to represent BT Internet. The chap was utterly daft and became quite belligerent when I questioned him. He went so far as to say he had my address, which I found rather alarming. However, as soon as I suggested that his claims were nothing more than a con, the call suddenly dropped, as if he’d lost signal. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you agree?
