I’ve been getting a right nuisance from these folks lately, receiving messages multiple times a day. They keep sending me texts with links to some Three website, but lo and behold, every time I try to reach it, I’m greeted with a dismal 404 Not Found error. What’s more, anyone who’s actually been a customer of Three knows that their customer support number is 333-absolutely free to call-certainly not some random number linked to the Isle of Islay. It’s beyond dodgy!

I received a text from this number saying my upgrade is ready and to either send a message back or give them a ring to sort out my new tariff and phone. I’m a bit suspicious, though, as we’ve literally just upgraded our mobile plan! Seems a bit dodgy, if you ask me.

Received a text last month prompting us to call regarding our '3' upgrade. I was too busy at the time to respond, but today I got a call from a withheld number. As soon as we inquired, they confirmed it was linked to that previous message. They asked how we were getting on with our Sony-Ericsson, but the truth is, we own a Blackberry! The caller then mentioned she’d look into what upgrades we might be eligible for, but the call suddenly cut off. I can’t shake the feeling that they’re trying to fish for some personal details.
