When I asked for some details like my public IP, exactly what was wrong, what speeds they were seeing on my end and so on, the bloke got a bit shouty. I gently suggested that maybe this wasn’t really BT and they might be having a laugh or trying to scam me. After that, they quickly ended the call and vanished.
