Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, saying a virus had somehow got onto my computer through my internet. They wanted to guide me to find and get rid of it. I just ended the call right after that. Total scam.

I answered the phone but no one spoke, just loads of noise in the background like a call centre. After a bit, a guy with an Asian accent said he was Ryan and mentioned something about my BT internet. The problem is, we don’t even have BT internet! I've since blocked the number.

I'm pretty sure the noise in the background is prerecorded or something. If he calls me once more, I'm gonna tell him to turn that off, otherwise, I'll have to take some serious action.
