I just finished typing up a long review and totally forgot to add that she claimed to be from BT. According to BIT's own guidelines, if you get a call about an outage but you’re not a BT customer, it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from some posh lady named Margaret, said she wanted to chat about power outages nearby. Thing is, I’m not even one of their customers. I blocked the number straight away. She did leave a voicemail, claiming she wasn’t trying to scam me and understood my suspicion. But honestly, why on earth would they ring someone who’s not a client about that stuff? Doesn’t add up - definitely feels like a scam to me!
