When someone rings up saying they're from "Energy Saving Solutions," try checking where they're actually located. I saw a comment saying it's just a one-person outfit in Ayr, but if you Google it, the same name shows up in places like Hull and Grimsby. Plus, you can find company details on Companies House. Maybe it's a franchise setup, which might explain all those cold calls - franchisees usually have to pay upfront and then desperately try to drum up business to cover their costs. So, if that's what's going on, don't be too harsh on whoever's calling; it might not be a scam after all.

This lot calling about Energy Saving Solutions are just scammers. When I asked a few questions, they got all aggressive and just cut me off. From what I've had, they keep ringing again and again. Honestly, the easiest way to deal with it is just report them to Ofcom every single time, it really helps put a stop to them.

E4 Energy Ltd are pushing really expensive boilers under the Zanussi name, but they’re not worth the price at all. They hype these boilers up, charging more than £4000, using a so-called "help to buy scheme" that’s really just a con. The company’s CEO goes by Amr or Ali El-Banawy, and the person who comes round to your house selling the boiler is actually one of the owners, known only as Qasim. Meanwhile, Dave Todd from Dartford, Kent is the public figure named on all their official documents.

All the info about the company and its parent, E4 Eco Holdings Ltd, is hidden behind various mailing addresses and virtual offices, so tracking down the actual people responsible is near impossible.

Personally, I wouldn’t rely on these lot for anything.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from an energy firm. They said they could help cut my bills and asked if my boiler was older than 10 years. I didn’t want to tell them and asked why they needed to know. Then they started mentioning some help to buy scheme and tried to set up an appointment.
