Got a call from what looked like a local number, but the digits didn’t match any I usually get (911xxx). The bloke on the line said his name was Ed and mentioned a company, but I couldn’t quite catch the name. He was trying to chat about loft and cavity wall insulation and how it might be messing with the air quality in my home. When I asked for more details about his company, he just hung up on me.

I've received several calls from a chap named Matthew who claims he’s following up on an issue with some loft insulation that apparently requires attention. However, I’m beginning to suspect this could be a dodgy cold call or even a scam. To be honest, I’ve not solicited any loft survey, and yet he seems rather persistent, ringing me about four times now. Whenever I probe him about where this request is coming from, he swiftly hangs up. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
