I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise since real people usually leave a voicemail. This one just rang off, so probably some call centre, maybe even based abroad using a landline to cover up. I looked into it and have blocked the number now.

Had no clue who was calling, picked up and it sounded like they were switching to someone else. Read the comments afterwards and decided to just block the number.

Didn’t bother to leave a message after calling and me not picking up. Blocked them straight away.

I received a rather dubious call from someone alleging that I had been in a fictitious car accident, attempting to entice me into pursuing compensation for this non-existent incident. I firmly informed him that I wasn't born yesterday and was well aware of his game. Please, everyone, keep your wits about you!

These people are total ambulance chasers. They ring up insisting you owe money from some car crash, but when I got the call, I had to look up the number first to see who it was. When I asked them for any company info, they just hung up. A mate told them to speak to her lawyer, and they didn’t take it well - just ended the call straight away. Honestly, best thing to do is just block them as soon as you get the call!

I picked up since the number looked like it was local and I'm actually job hunting at the moment. A bloke with a northern English accent asked straight away for me by name. When I asked who was calling, he said 'Josh from First Response'. He started saying it was about a car crash I’d had in the past couple of years. I told him I didn’t own a car (even though I do) but before I could say more, he had already cut off. The number came up as blocked too.

No clue who keeps calling me but this person has been blowing up my phone for ages! Every time I block the number, they just call with 'no caller ID' showing. Seriously annoying. Gonna have to report it to the police soon.
