Claimed he wasn’t calling out of the blue, yet here we are, a bona fide cold call. He mentioned he was reaching out to homeowners in my area due to our skyrocketing energy consumption. Wanted me to verify that I was indeed the homeowner. I decided to end the conversation right there and hang up.
