I picked up the phone and said hello, but it took a good few times before anyone on the other end responded. An Asian gentleman eventually came on the line, inquiring about a chap named Brian-my first name, by the way. I told him I was quite fed up with these nonsense calls and decided to hang up.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying that my account had been hacked recently. They asked if I was near my computer so they could fix the problem. I knew it was dodgy right away but decided to humour them for a bit. Funny enough, I was just watching a BBC show about phone scams when this happened. As soon as I brought that up, the call just dropped!
