It's clear this is a scam. They want you to hit 1 and then they start recording your voice. Best to just ignore it!

I got a call today from someone claiming to be with BT saying there was unusual activity on my internet and that they were about to cut off my service if I didn’t sort it. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, so I didn’t give out any info. Just a heads up, watch out for that kind of call!

I received a call from this number on the 5th of June, 2020, around quarter to ten in the morning. My home phone picked up the call, yet the person on the other end-whether it was an actual caller or an automated system-disconnected abruptly, failing to provide any voicemail. Can anyone shed light on who might be behind this number?

While I was away from home, I noticed that my landline received a call from this number, yet they didn’t bother to leave a message. I've attempted to ring them back thrice on my mobile, and it simply rings before being redirected to the BT 1571 service, stating that the individual I’m trying to reach isn't available right now and suggesting I leave a message after the beep. It's puzzling though, why does it ring initially instead of giving me an engaged signal?

I received a rather dodgy automated call claiming to be from BT, warning me that our Internet service is on the verge of being shut down due to some alleged suspicious behaviour. They urged me to 'Press 1' to get in touch with their so-called 'executive'. Quite fishy, if you ask me!
