I got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft, told me my computer had some sort of issue. They never really explained what the problem was before I hung up. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

this morning around 09:38 (sat 18th dec 2021), i got a call warning me that my computer had been compromised in the past couple of days. the woman on the line asked how frequently i used it daily, i said quite a few times. then she wanted me to switch it on so she could show me errors appearing on it. i told her i thought it was a scam call and she hung up right away. i’ve been online for nearly 2 decades and have had loads of these dodgy calls, so i can spot them a mile off. i also know that the numbers they call from get spoofed pretty often.
