4 yearsI gotta say, I hadn't got any calls like this since December 2021 because I found a way to stop them for a bit. But today, on 30/3/22 around 1:30pm, something felt off. Normally when I get a scam call, I let them speak first, find out who they say they are, then just say bye and hang up, blocking the number after. That trick worked pretty well - I barely got any scam calls after. But this one was different, it was recorded instead of a person talking, which made me suspicious it was a dodgy scam attempt. Maybe this is the new tactic scammers are using now to catch people out, or maybe it was someone who caught on to how I handle calls and tried to copy it.
