4 yearsI should mention that I haven't had to deal with these nuisance calls since December 2021, as I found a method to put a stop to them, at least for a while. However, today, on 30th March 2022 at 1:03 PM, I received a call that raised my suspicions. The manner in which it was conducted was rather different from the usual offenders. Typically, when I receive a scam call, I let the caller introduce themselves, then promptly say goodbye before hanging up and blocking their number. Since I adopted this strategy, those pesky scam calls have diminished remarkably; I simply sever the connection and block them. But today’s call was notably different - it was a recorded message rather than a live person on the line, which has led me to believe it might indeed be a dodgy scam attempt. Perhaps this could signal a new trend in how they operate, or it could even be that this caller has been mimicking the tactics I’ve employed in dealing with these calls.
