I've had loads of calls coming through at my mum's place, each time asking for all sorts of personal details, even card numbers. I've already reported one of these calls to OFCOM and plan on reporting this one along with the rest as well!

I’m getting loads of calls from some TPS scammer too, ringing me on different numbers I have and I’ve been blocking them as they come in. They tried asking for my card expiry date, but I gave them a proper telling off. Still, they keep ringing even after I said no, like they just don’t get the message. Really annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they offer a call blocking service. They knew my name, but it was weirdly pronounced, like they got it from some dodgy source. The caller kept insisting it wasn’t a sales pitch, but it definitely sounded like one. Could be a scam, or just a sneaky sales tactic, either way, best to give it a miss.

This number kept ringing me a few times. After seeing what others said here, I decided to block it using BT Protect. Then, annoyingly, they began calling from 01490555019 instead. Obviously, I wasn’t having any of that and blocked this second number too. Not very smart of them at all.

Just like everyone else said, this number keeps calling me multiple times a day, asking for my bank info. It’s about 2 or 3 calls daily, sometimes even 4. Really annoying!

Got a call a moment ago, same old TPS nonsense. But heads up, this bloke already had the expiry date of my bank card and asked me to verify it. Sounds like they might be using info from those site breaches where people's data got compromised. Stay alert, everyone!

Got a call from a bloke trying to sell me something about stopping marketing calls, which is a bit rich. He went on about the different services they offer and said I needed to decide quickly. I asked him how he even got my number, cos I know TPS wouldn't ring me up asking about upgrades or anything like that. When he couldn't give a proper answer, I brought up the new GDPR rules for cold calling in the EU, and he just cut the call straight away.

I've been getting calls from 01490555021, they ring me a couple of times daily then just cut off straight away. No shock there, especially after I had to change my elderly mum's bank PIN because these lot tried tricking her into paying £150 for a gadget to block nuisance calls. I reckon they'll come back when I'm not around. The TPS is useless for these calls anyway, they come through encrypted WhatsApp from either the UK or India, doesn’t matter where, they switch numbers constantly!

Not too sure, but they've called me a couple of times. Didn’t bother leaving a message either time, so figured they probably weren’t someone who really wanted to speak with me. Had a look on this site and honestly, glad I didn’t waste my time. Totally think there should be something done to put an end to these annoying calls.

Can you believe it? He actually asked if I was still getting those telemarketing calls. I just shot back, “Yeah, from you lot!” then I ended the call and sorted it out with BT call protect by blocking him.

The caller knew my name and said they were from the TPS. They asked if I settled my phone bill by direct debit. I fibbed and told them I didn’t, that I paid at the post office instead. But that didn’t seem to satisfy him, as he then asked to check the expiry date on my card. Feeling a bit playful, I asked why he needed that info, mentioning I'd never been asked to hand over my card details by TPS before. Still, he kept going on. Eventually, I dropped a colourful word, and he promptly ended the call.

Got a call from a woman called Rachel with some odd accent that wasn’t British. She claimed to be from TPS and asked for the expiry date on my bank card. She also seemed to know I pay my phone bill by direct debit. I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number.

Had a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from the telephone preference service. He had the name of the people who lived here before and even got the address and postcode wrong. When I told him to stop ringing, he was quite rude about it. Definitely don’t share any of your details with these lot.

For two nights in a row, I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent trying to sell me a service to block spam calls. I told him I wasn’t interested and reminded him he’d called the day before. He said he’d send me a message or something, but I couldn’t hear him properly so I just hung up. Feels like these nuisance calls happen almost every day now, wish there was a way to put an end to it.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from the TPS. He already knew we pay by direct debit and started asking for my card's expiry date plus a 6 digit number, which seemed like the bank sort code. He insisted he needed these details to keep the service going! Pretty clear this was just a scam to nab my bank info. I didn’t give him anything and just told him to buzz off. Honestly, I’d suggest not picking up or just hanging up straight away. I’m pretty sure the TPS wouldn’t call you like this at all.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent looking for Mrs T., which is my partner’s last name. Told them no one by that name lives here (not fibbing, we’re not married). They started asking about the phone bill but I told them it’s nothing to do with them and just hung up.
