Got a call with a really thick Indian accent, they claimed to be from the electricity meter folks asking me to give them my meter readings. Seemed a bit fishy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the metering department but they wouldn’t say which company they were from. Said my meter readings didn’t match up and tried to get my personal details. When I told them I wasn’t a customer of Opal Energy, they started guessing if I was with EON, Southern or SSE. I asked them to verify the address they were looking into and then they just abruptly ended the call.
