Got a call saying my internet was down and to press 1 to chat with some 'engineer'. Only said two quick words, second sounded like 'offl!' Don't even think about pressing it, loads of people on forums say if you do, it starts charging you like £8 every second. You reckon you're just waiting to talk, but nah, they're just milking you with a massive scam bill!

Got called by this robotic voice claiming my internet was hacked or something. Sounds like another scam to me. Display showed 22 too, quite suspicious!

Got a call from a recorded voice claiming to be from BT’s tech team saying my internet was at risk. Seemed dodgy, so I just ended the call straight away. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
