I asked where he’d got my info from and he just started talking about getting details from different places before suddenly cutting me off. Pretty sure it was one of those timeshare payout scams.

Got a call from someone named Karen claiming to be with a timeshare firm, checking if we had been in touch back in March 2019. She started asking about some new laws around timeshares and whether we wanted to pursue legal action. I stayed neutral about owning a timeshare and told her to stop calling since I couldn’t verify her identity. She got a bit pushy, and when I told her to remove us from their contact list, she refused and said she wouldn’t take orders from me. I ended the call there. Feels like a total scam, so watch out for these types of calls.
