I never pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers, especially since I’ve no contacts down in Southampton. After having a look here, it seemed pretty clear it was either a scam or a random cold call, so I've gone ahead and blocked it. Seriously, when will the govt step in and sort out these scammers?

i usually just ignore calls if the number’s not saved cos i’d be talking non stop otherwise. 99% of the time it just goes straight to voicemail. if they really need to get in touch they’ll leave a message, simple as. blocked this one straight away tho.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don't know and didn't get a voicemail from them either. They rang my phone a few times and before getting back to them, I searched online to see if there was any info but came up empty. Has anyone else picked up this number? Wondering who it could be.

I got a call about some PPI refund supposedly from Goldfish Bank for around £5,000. They wanted me to pay a 20% fee straight away, promising the money back later. I paid it, but never got any refund at all. Definitely a complete scam!

Hey, did anyone pick up when this number called? I got a couple of missed calls but no voicemail or anything. No clue who it might be. I’m thinking it could be some automated spam call to see if my number is active. Normally I don’t bother answering calls from numbers I don’t know. I tried searching online to find out who it could be but didn’t find anything useful. Any thoughts on who might be calling from this number?
