This lady who said her name was Jennifer Watson, sounded Asian, and a bloke with a Welsh accent rang us. We was having troubles with our laptop and when they spoke about our router, we assumed it was linked up already. The call lasted over two hours and a half and they managed to scam us out of thousands. Luckily, we caught on in time before they could take a second payment.

I truly wish that this dodgy outfit would be exposed for what they are. It’s absolutely outrageous how little consideration they show for registered disabled individuals. My mother, who is 94, deserves so much better. If I ever uncover their identities, I would not hesitate to take them to task for their actions.

Got a call from this number just now, same old thing about Talktalk saying my computer is super slow. Some Asian guy named Danny on the line. I told him I wasn’t falling for it, hung up and blocked the number straight away.

They rung me when I wasn’t home, and since I don’t know anyone around there, I really appreciated the other posts here. Seems like just another scam from TalkTalk, to me. I got another call later from 022090001266 claiming they’re TalkTalk lawyers wanting to discuss my router. I told them straight up it was a scam. Wouldn’t trust either of these numbers.

Someone's pretending to be Talktalk, and it's really risky. I was actually a Talktalk customer during their hack last October, but not anymore. Lately I've been getting loads of calls showing ‘no number available,’ but recently the calls sound more convincing. Please be careful and never let them access your computer, and definitely don’t press the ‘Windows key’ when they ask!

I'm also a Talk Talk customer but didn’t pick up that call today. I've gone through the same thing as many others here mention, but when I rang up Talk Talk, they were really good and said they’d block that number across their whole system. They even explained how I can block calls on my own. These days, I only get the odd nuisance from fresh scam numbers.

After blocking two other callers claiming to be from Talktalk, this number popped up this morning so I picked up. The bloke on the line had a very polite Indian accent and somehow knew my name, saying he was from Talktalk. I just hung up straight away. I’ve already told Talktalk about this before, and they confirmed they don’t make calls like that and are aware of these scam calls going around.

I keep gettin calls like this from loads of different numbers, ever since TallTalk got hacked earlier this year. They say they’re from talktalk and tell you there’s an issue with your router, then ask you to switch on your PC. If you do, they take control of it and say you’ve got a virus, then they want your bank details to fix it. You can block these numbers by hanging up, picking the phone back up, dialling 14258 and pressing star twice.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Talk Talk, saying there’s an issue with my internet. I got calls from this number for three days straight, all saying there was an issue with my router. So today I phoned TalkTalk to check. When I asked what exactly the problem was, they told me to turn on my computer so they could show me. When I pushed for details first, the guy with an Indian accent started shouting at me. Some folks called me the other day, a woman with an Asian accent saying my TalkTalk router was broken. She claimed for just £154.99, they’d get into my computer, clear all the spyware, and make it run like brand new. Usually, I wouldn’t be rude to a lady, but honestly, I enjoyed telling her where to stick it. She actually sounded a bit taken aback and told me not to be so impolite.
