this number rang me up saying i needed to "move my service to digital" or something like that, when i asked the bloke he sort of owned up he worked for a billing company. yeah, it was just a cold call but nothing too suspicious or weird.

After looking into it a bit more I found out they are actually a legit 3rd party seller connected with Openreach. Once I got all the details and carefully went through the contract, I decided to move forward with them.

Honestly, I don’t reckon these people are trying to scam anyone. They were doing a cold call and the bloke straight up said he was working for a third party. Pretty upfront about it, really.

This isn’t some sort of con, it’s just a reseller of Openreach services.

So a mate told me there'd been some new full fibre fitted nearby after seeing some digging vans about. Then I got a call from Hosted offering to hook me up with their service. It's a bit pricier than what I had but honestly, the speed's loads better and I've had no issues since signing up. Definitely worth the extra cost.

Had a call from someone claiming to be Openreach, but it was clearly a scam. Totally dodgy.

This isn't a scam or anything dodgy, just a firm giving you a shout to offer their services as an alternative to BT, nothing more really.

I’ve got a feeling that post with the green rating is actually from a scammer. It’s pretty clear it’s a scam. If you get calls like this, be sure to text 7726 to report them.

A friendly bloke ringed me up and sorted me out with a new phone and broadband deal that’s way better than BT’s. Really chuffed with how it all turned out!

Got a ring from 01253 203302, someone saying they were with Openreach about some digital upgrade. Jotted down a number to return the call, it was 01489 532369. Thing is, we sorted the upgrade a few years back already.

Got a call about some Open Reach digital upgrade thing. I asked to be put through to whoever handles that stuff. The number that showed up on my phone was 01483 359016. When I said I’d have someone ring them back later, she gave me a different number to call, which was 01489 532369.

They kept calling me over and over, really persistent, even though I've switched over to digital now.

Really persistent and quite forceful on the phone. I've flagged the number as a nuisance on my phone. If you're someone who usually gives in easily, I’d watch out - it could cause trouble.

I keep getting calls about some Openreach digital upgrade, but I had it sorted ages ago, like a few years back. It's quite annoying!
