I decided to flick on my answering machine as I was clueless about the identity of the caller. They left a message, but it turned out to be nothing more than dead air mixed with some muffled sounds in the background. Most likely just an irritating spam call, if you ask me.

I saw the Huddersfield area code but didn’t know the number, so I just let it ring. After reading all the bad reviews, I’m pretty pleased I ignored it.

This number keeps ringing me up around once a week, despite me repeating time and again that I’m not interested and don’t want any services from them. Reading through the comments, looks like I’m not alone with this. Whenever I try to tell them to take my number off their list or stop calling, they just cut me off mid-sentence, not even bothering to say goodbye. The last time I tried to bring up my housing officer, they just hung up straight away. Proper frustrating!

Got a call from some number I didn’t recognise. Looked it up and said it’s from Huddersfield. No clue why anyone from there would be ringing me, so I just ignored it. Decided to block the number anyway, don’t want any hassle.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Green Energy. They mentioned solar panels and even knew my full name. I told them they were actually ringing a work number and mentioned our landlord probably wouldn’t approve solar panels on the roof. They just ended the call after that.

Just a heads up, this is definitely a scam, so I’d say don't respond and block the number straight away. They even knew my last name and called me on my mobile.
