Today, I received a rather dubious recorded message from the aforementioned number, purporting to be from Amazon. They stated that my Prime account was on the verge of expiring and that they intended to automatically charge my linked credit card for renewal. While that’s all fine and dandy, I can’t help but ask-how does a non-existent account manage to expire? Clearly, this is a fraudulent attempt!
