this lady called saying she was from the national energy check. i’m registered with the tps so when i asked if she’d got my permission to call, she just ended the call straight away.

Today I got a message on my answering machine from this number or maybe it was an automated voice. The caller said I had called 2080892475 and warned me about some serious legal trouble. They didn’t say which company they were from or explain why they were threatening me. Very sketchy!

so yesterday afternoon i got a call from someone claiming they were doing an energy survey as part of a government scheme. they mentioned they'd be fitting some sort of laser gadget on our windows to measure how well insulated the house is. when i asked if they were selling anything, the caller kept insisting they weren’t trying to sell anything. i told them to just send me the details by post and then ended the call. what puzzles me is how they found my number and name since i’m on the restricted electoral roll and my number’s not in any directory.

Got a call from this number around 10:10am today. All I heard was silence, nobody said a word. I ended the call and looked up the number here, decided to block it straight away.

The very first time they rang, my answering machine picked up but no message was left. When they called again, I actually answered, but they just ended the call straight away! On their third and fourth attempts, the answering machine went off again, yet still, not a single word left in a message. Weird really.

On 15/3/2018, in the late afternoon, I got a call from this number. A bloke said he was doing a government survey about heating and energy. Oddly, he already had my name, phone number and even my address, despite me being on the restricted electoral roll! He asked about the quality of my window insulation but it was obvious he was just trying to sell windows or something. I told him most of my doors and windows have just been replaced recently, then he quickly ended the call. Definitely not a proper government survey.

Not sure who it was, but they’ve rung me a few times earlier and I always ignored it. Today I finally picked up but stayed quiet. I could hear some background noise like a call centre, but the person on the other end didn’t say a word and just hung up after a short moment. I’ve added the number to my phone blacklist now, so hopefully they won’t bother me again.
