Got a call from someone in London claiming to be EE, trying to switch my SIM. Definitely a scam!

Got a random call from a bloke with a South Asian accent claiming he was ringing from BT/EE about their merger (which happened ages ago, we all know that!) and said I was eligible for some ‘discount’. Problem is, I’m with neither BT nor EE, so clearly just another dodgy scammer trying to con me. Just ended the call, don’t bother answering if it’s similar - best to block straight away.

This number rang me, claiming to be from Three mobile. It seemed dodgy straight away, so I just ended the call.

Got a call saying my EE sim was gonna get blocked soon 'cause of some network update. They wanted to know when I'd be in to send a replacement sim. Seemed like they were just after my address, so I just ended the call. Then they called me back almost straight away. Told them I don’t even use EE and hung up again.
