This number called me loads of times but I didn’t pick up until yesterday. When I finally did, a young bloke answered but he sounded like he was chatting with someone else at the same time. He started talking about an address that definitely wasn’t mine. I told him that and then there was a bit of silence. When I kept saying ‘hello?’, after a while he snapped back with ‘what’s up with you?’ which I thought was quite cheeky. Plus, he didn’t even get my name right!

This number rings me non-stop all day long, never leaves a voicemail. Today I picked up and no one said a word before hanging up. It’s so frustrating since I’ve never shared my home number and I’m registered with TPS for ages. I called them back and some recorded message said “approved energy solutions,” then a guy with a thick accent answered. Not very professional at all, and he was pretty rude when I asked questions. He even said they’d just moved office a few minutes before and tried to get my personal info! (Really appreciate the Sky Shield tip from the last comment)

Today, some bloke with a foreign accent said they were doing checks in my area all week. To schedule a free energy check, all he wanted was my postcode. I asked why they didn’t already have it if they’re supposedly working nearby. Then, total silence and he hung up. I thought being on the Telephone Preference Service would block these calls, but apparently not. Calling 1471 usually shows the number, which just adds to the irritation.
