Just wanted to add to my earlier note about that dodgy text regarding a supposed Nationwide payment of £178. The number they left, +61 483905817, made me realise the +61 prefix belongs to Australia, which is a bit suspicious given the context.

Got 7 calls in less than 10 minutes from 03452660460, ignored them all and they all went to voicemail. When I listened back, there was just an automated message mentioning £178 before it cut off. Then a couple of texts popped up from 01483905817 claiming to be Nationwide Fraud, saying there was a £178 attempt at Tesco Express and asking me to reply yes or no if it was me. I didn’t reply. I later contacted the real Nationwide Fraud team who told me they had no sign of any such transaction or suspicious behaviour. Sounds like a scam attempt to me.
