I’ve been messing around with loads of Indian scammers recently. They ask you to "check my 1p address location" on Google - yeah, 1p not IP. This just brings up a Google ad, so it ends up showing Google’s own IP, something like 66.x.x.x, which they then claim proves they can track who’s hacking you. Then comes the usual spiel about downloading Anydesk. They get properly annoyed when you point out the top search result says ‘AnyDesk is mostly used by dodgy Indian scammers’. It’s a laugh really.
