Got a voicemail today claiming to be from Bank Credit Card Security saying there was a £600 overseas transaction made in the last 15 minutes. They told me to press 1 if I didn’t make the transaction to get through to them. This isn’t the first time I’ve had these calls, same for a bogus charge of £79.99 for an Amazon Prime renewal I never authorised. The Amazon one usually comes from a withheld number, and usually the £600 alerts do too, but this time the caller ID showed 1471.
