I keep getting calls from the Philippines about covid-related financial protection, and this is the third one this week. They've all shown up as different UK numbers from various places like Chester and some unknown areas. I've blocked them, but they keep coming through. The numbers I've seen linked are 01244 911086 and 01366 002587. You’d think some government department would be gathering these to get phone companies to shut these scammers down.

I received two calls from this number and decided to return the call. To my surprise, I was greeted by a recorded message prompting me to opt out. It then informed me that this mailbox isn’t set up to take any further calls! Quite baffling, really!
