I just decided to block the number.

Got a missed call from this number, thought it might be a job opportunity so I called back. But it was just some automated message thanking me for subscribing to something, with an option to opt out within 3 days. Tried calling again to cancel whatever it was, but the voicemail was full so I couldn’t leave a message. No company info given at all. Feels like a proper scam, definitely don’t bother calling them back!

Some lady called, said she was Miss Ross or something, but I had no idea who she was. She said it wasn’t a sales call, but when I just told her “yeah it is, I’m not interested,” she suddenly hung up on me.

For the past week, I’ve been receiving calls almost every day. Usually, I just let them ring, but when I do answer, the person on the other end just hangs up. It’s really annoying and pointless, so I’m gonna block the number for good.

Somebody called saying they were from a charity asking if I wanted to give a donation. I told them no and hung up. It's not that I don't want to donate or anything, I just don’t trust giving money over the phone or online, worried it might be dodgy. I prefer handing donations to local groups in person.
