Some bloke called saying he was with BT. When I mentioned I use a Mac, he suddenly asked if I was having breakfast! Then he told me to head back and that they’d ring me up again later. Quite odd, really.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach saying there were some issues with my system. I asked for my name to check they were legit, and then they just ended the call. Definitely felt like a phishing attempt.

It was one of those dodgy calls, felt like a total scam.

Apparently BT Outreach got pretty pushy, and when I called them out for sounding like a scam, they just ended the call on me. Bit of a shame, I was actually having a laugh messing with them.

They said it was from British Telecom but the person sounded really unsure and sketchy right at the start, so i just ended the call.
