Calls come through around 8.30 in the morning from someone saying it's Maxine Griffin and to press 2 for a message. I’m not sure what button to press though, so I’ve had to pay Sky to block the number.

Got a call from this number saying they were from Virgin Media/O2. They told me my SIM was going to be cancelled and a new one sent out, but first I had to confirm my identity. They said they already had all my info, but oddly needed my email to check the account. I told them if they really wanted me to prove it was me, they could send an email with a code, and I'd confirm I got it. I ended up chatting with them for about 16 minutes, hoping I wasted enough of their time so they couldn’t bother someone else with their scam.

If you got this call, it’s because you owe money to aqua, simple as that. The different phone number is just because aqua credit card handed over your debt to another firm. No point pretending otherwise, just pay what you owe 🤣

Wescott wanted to speak to someone called Mr Shannon Elding, pressing 1 to connect direct. If that wasn’t me, option 2 was to ask if I could get him to ring back. No other choices were given, like what to do if you’ve no idea who that is or if he even lives here. They’ve been calling nonstop, every single day for the past two weeks. Proper annoying.
