I've been getting nonstop calls and voicemails from people saying they're Wescot. At first, it was just voicemails from a different number (+44 1482 590502) asking me to sort out a repayment and giving a reference number. I blocked it straight away since it clearly seemed like a scam. Now, I'm also getting texts from a new number that’s hidden, claiming Wescot is ‘handling’ my Paypal account and telling me to call 01482484617. I've blocked that too. I really feel sorry for the real Wescot team - they must get loads of confused people contacting them because of these dodgy calls.

Calls and texts keep coming non stop. The legit Westcot Debt Collection company even have a part on their site about fake numbers being used. I keep blocking them and fingers crossed they stop after a while.

Got a text from “Wescot” saying PayPal told them to handle my account and they’d send me a link to sort things out or I could ring them. Yeah, right! Pretty sure it’s another bunch of scammers from India - loads of them keep texting and calling me from different numbers. I’ve got a voicemail on the longest timer possible, thanks to Kitboga’s “just wait a moment remix” - look it up if you want a laugh :D Now they don’t bother leaving messages cos every time they do, it eats their time and money. Score for me!

They sent me a text asking me to ring them back, so i did (probably not the smartest move). I asked for some details then just ended the call. Now i’m phoning the number listed on Wescot’s official site (which is different from the one that called me) to see if they even recognise me! I’ve never heard of this company before or had any dealings with them.

Just got a couple of texts and a call from Wescot claiming they need to speak to me urgently, telling me to ring 01482484617 with some reference number. It’s a joke. Definitely blocking them since I don’t owe anyone a penny. Had similar calls from Eon before, with automated messages about debts. Rang Eon myself using their official site number and they said I’m not even a customer! What a load of rubbish!

This has been going on with me for the past few days too. I keep trying to block the numbers but they keep ringing from new ones that are very similar. You can tell it’s the same lot since they never leave a clear message. It’s always just “call me back quick” and the number. Yesterday I got a text that seemed important but I just didn't reply.

Then today, I got a phone call from someone called Westcott. They had my name but with a different address. They kept asking for my personal info, but when I asked what company they were with, they just said some utility firm and refused to say more because of 'data protection.' The bloke wouldn't tell me his own name and just hung up on me.

Now I've had another text from them, saying I need to phone Wescot straight away on 01482484617 and give them a reference number 00000000. Their listed address is Glencairn Street, Saltcoats KA21 5JT, company number SC084131. Looks dodgy to me!

I keep getting calls and texts from this number asking for some bloke called Steve Luck. They even made me press 2 since I’m apparently not him. Then there’s this recorded message telling me to get Steve Luck to ring them on some number. I’ve replied loads of times saying they’ve got the wrong person, but they still won’t stop. My final message to them was just “I’m NOT Steve Luck, morons.” It’s really starting to annoy me now.
