When I pressed for some specific details about the items I supposedly insured, they were utterly unprepared. Naturally, I told them I wasn’t interested. What baffled me was their response; they insisted that I had to pay some sort of fee to extricate myself from a contract that I didn’t even recall signing! When I inquired if they had any tangible evidence of my agreement, they brushed it off, saying I’d consented over the phone, and threw out the last four digits of a card that meant nothing to me. I attempted to reach out to them for some formal proof of this supposed contract but was met with a dead line. This whole affair has left me with a strong suspicion that they might be running a scam.5 yearsI received a call claiming I had an insurance policy for home drainage with a premium that needed settling.
