I got a recorded message claiming to be from my bank, though it didn’t say which one. It told me that £400 had been withdrawn from my account and £1500 sent to some international money group. They asked me to press a number to talk to someone. When I tried to hear the message again, it just connected me to an "advisor" line, but then the call just ended. Another dodgy scam attempt, seems like these never end. It’s a shame the banks and authorities don’t do more to stop this nonsense.

Seems like a total scam to me - this woman with an American accent sounded really creepy, telling me to hit 1, probably to get hold of my bank info. Weird thing is, I was out at the time and she still dropped a voicemail. Never had that happen before.
