No idea who rang as I just let it go to voicemail and there was no msg left. But this number called right after two other calls claiming to be HMRC with final warnings, one from Harrogate (01423 477957) and the other from Hull (01482 354110). This is the third call in about five minutes after the first two. All the numbers were hidden. Just a heads up to watch out.

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent, all prerecorded, saying I had £400 taken from my Amazon account and £1200 sent via bank transfer. She told me to press a button if I wanted to stop it. Didn’t bother replying, felt like it was just another scam trying to trick me.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying my call blocking subscription was about to expire. She warned that if I didn’t renew, I’d be flooded with scam calls. I told her her call felt like spam and asked her to take my number off their calling list and not ring me again. She just hung up on me straight away. So yeah, I’ve blocked the number now.
