This morning at 11:17, I got a call from the number 01482354238. It was an automated recording claiming it was a fraud alert. They mentioned that a card-no clue which one or whose it is-had supposedly been used overseas for some sort of transaction. I’ve been getting these sorts of calls quite frequently lately. Do you reckon this is just a scam?

This morning, precisely at 10:46, I had an unwelcome ring from the number 01482354238. It was rather odd - a pre-recorded message informed me of a so-called fraud alert! Apparently, there’s been a card (which I haven’t the faintest clue about) that's supposedly been used overseas for a hefty sum of £600. I can't help but wonder, is this just another scam? For reference, my number is 01784 252985.
