Called from the visa office. Wondered what it was about.

So, this morning at about 10:52 on 15 June 2021, I got a call that just went straight to voicemail. The message claimed there was a dodgy banking transaction of £1400 on my account. It told me to press 1 to approve it or 2 to cancel, but right when I was about to choose, the call just cut off. The number initially appeared as international but then switched to 01482354227 on the recording. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Some bloke pretending to be from my bank rang up saying there was dodgy stuff on my account, told me to press one to confirm or two to cancel, I just hung up straight away.

They called but never left any message. Pretty sure it’s one of those dodgy scam calls - they almost always are these days.
