This number called me (Red-Star - also tried from 01442 800875). They started off quite civil, asking about credit loans linked to MNBA credit cards for times I wasn’t even in the UK. When that line of questioning hit a dead end, they switched to enquiring about any insurance I might be paying through my bank for things like phones or cars. Strange approach, tbh.

No idea who they were but they called me and somehow they can find out exactly where you are when you answer. Dunno how they got hold of my number but the two people I spoke to were proper rude, both told me to go to hell and one even called me a w**ker. They’re not just dodgy, they’re also harassing folk. Got a call from Lee about PPI, told him I wasn’t interested, but he came across pretty pushy. Not sure who these people are but they rang me today on this phone number. I think they might be using an 0181 number too, and I thought those numbers weren’t used anymore? They said they were from TalkTalk and wanted access to my PC. I’m in the age group they seem to be targeting now, but I’ve worked in computers and electronics for years. We definitely have to stay vigilant since these scammers are just awful. It’s really unfortunate. Don’t let yourself get tricked. They’ve been calling me quite a bit over the past few months.

they asked for a mr trackt, i said speaking cause that aint my name and wanted to see what they’d say next, probably knew i was bluffing anyway. then he was like how are you? i replied what’s that got to do with you? hang up now and then ended the call. they called right back, shouting and swearing. i told em mate, bugger off and slammed the phone down. they rang again from 01904501307. after that, i cant really go into what happened but calling them anything less than unprofessional scumbags just wouldn’t be right.

Every morning, our phone rings at a regular time, only to be met with silence on the other end. Got a call from this number early this morning, about 9.47. They said they were from a firm in Manchester and wanted my address to send some papers about a credit card loan refund I supposedly qualified for (which seemed odd). Strangely, they already had my previous address on file (how??). I just told them I wasn't interested and ended the call. Have blocked the number since then.

A group calling themselves "Red Star" contacted me, claiming that I was eligible for a refund on a credit card that I do not possess. When they inquired about the specific credit cards I had, I declined to provide any details. The caller then stated that if I didn't want the refund, they would donate it to a charity. I promptly informed them to proceed as they pleased.
